RSS on GermanHockey.net

RSS Feed

Here you will find the RSS-feed of GermanHockey.net. RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. RSS allows you to stay updated on the articles that appear on GermanHockey.net. You will need an RSS-reader to be able to process the RSS-feed.

Why is RSS useful?

RSS can save you a lot of time. If you visit a large number of websites daily, then you would normally need to visit each website seperately. You would need to open the website, check if there are any updates and go on to the next website. RSS allows you to quickly see whether a website has been updated.

What will you need?

First of all you will need an RSS-reader. There are numerous RSS-readers available. Some are free, for some you will need to pay. A free program is for example Feedreader, which you can download from www.feedreader.nl. Another free program is Sharpreader, which you can find on www.sharpreader.net.

After downloading and installing the program, you can add a new RSS-feed via "File, New, New Feed". In the next window you can enter the url of the RSS-feed (in our case http://www.germanhockey.net/rss.asp) and click on 'next'. You can then enter a name for the feed. Click on 'finish' to complete the addition of the RSS-feed to your RSS-reader.

If you prefer not to install a program, then you can read RSS-feeds online with websites like Bloglines, which is a free of charge service.
